First day of the ride

	The view from up here is really spectacular.
	We keep going up and down, and down and up.....
	Looks like we're kinda going down again. Looks like Clark and I are riding together for the most part.
	Made it to the first vet check. It's really a nice spot, lots of beautiful green grass for the horses to eat. They also have lunch made for us - sandwiches, candy bars, cookies, drinks, etc. Really nice.
	And all of our crew bags were brought up. We just have to pick which one is ours.
	Vet area.
	Volunteers. Food area.
	I'll take one of each please (the candybars, that is....{bg})
	Okay, I tried really really hard but just couldn't refrain from taking a picture of Rocky. I know I have a bazillion pictures of my horses in vet checks, but not any of him at THIS ride at THIS vet check drinking from THAT bucket!!! (I was good most of the rest of the week tho, so you won't be subjected to too many more Rocky shots -- cept for maybe a few overlooking his ears)

	Jim and Smoke. Look, Jim's even wearing PURPLE!!!!
	ARRRGGGGGHHhhhhh!!!! OhmyGAWD....JIM GET THAT PLASTIC BAG AWAY FROM MY HORSE!!!!
	Look at those spotless clean legs! {not} okay, but his easyboots are beautiful :+}, and they lasted all 250 miles and are still in good shape.

	And over here the horses are trotted out and vetted. If they are afraid of motorcycles, they are shot. {just kidding}
